Bensalem, Pennsylvania hosts blockbuster Labor Day Weekend lineup with CFFC 123 and 124

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – Cage Fury Fighting Championships (CFFC) returns to Bensalem, Pennsylvania for a Labor Day Weekend extravaganza that includes back-to-back nights of electric MMA matchups at the Parx Casino's Xcite Center.

On Friday, September 1, the promotion's featherweight title is on the line at "CFFC 123: Perez vs. Vasil" in the night's main event, while the middleweight belt is up for grabs at "CFFC 124: Ellis vs. Daukaus" on Saturday, September 2.

Friday's CFFC 123 is headlined by the heavily anticipated rescheduled matchup between reigning 145-pound champion Jose Perez (7-1) and hard-hitting challenger Chris "Bad Apple" Vasil (6-3). The pair were originally expected to meet at July's CFFC 121 event, but Perez was forced to withdraw from the contest prior to weigh-ins, and now they will meet seven weeks later. Additional contests already booked for the card include a pair of lightweight matchups with Brandon "Blayde" Evans (2-0) vs. "Ruthless" Robert Varricchio (3-0) and Bobby Casale (1-1) vs. Antonio "Beast Monkey" Noel (1-1).

Meanwhile, Saturday's CFFC 124 sees reigning 185-pound titleholder Gregg "The Greatest" Ellis (8-4) put his belt on the line against former champion and seven-time UFC veteran Kyle "The D'Arce Night" Daukaus (12-4) in the night's main event. Other matchups confirmed for the event include two welterweight contests, with Manny Morales (2-1) vs. Trenton Zdarko (3-1) and Nick "The Italian Stallion" Caracappa (Pro debut) vs. Craig "The Can Man" Willingham (0-1).

Additional matchups for both events will be announced shortly. Tickets are on sale now at CFFC.tv.

The main cards for CFFC 123 and CFFC 124 air live on UFC FIGHT PASS following prelims that stream exclusively on OnlyFans.

"We've had some incredibly memorable events at Parx Casino, but this will be a historic Labor Day Weekend for us, hosting two consecutive nights of high-level, fast-paced action at this beautiful venue," CFFC CEO Rob Haydak said. "As always, tickets are going to sell quickly for these spectacular cards, with Friday's main event getting some real heat building between longtime CFFC veterans Jose Perez and Chris Vasil, while Saturday sees Gregg Ellis try to take another step toward MMA's highest level and Chris Daukaus tries to prove that he deserves a return invitation to the UFC.

"Get your tickets early and don't miss out on what's sure to be an incredible weekend featuring the MMA's top rising talent."

Current AEW wrestling superstar and two-time UFC veteran CM Punk calls the action at CFFC 123 and CFFC 124 alongside MixedMartialArts.com editor-in-chief John Morgan on UFC FIGHT PASS.
