CFFC 79 Official Weigh Ins Stream

Cage Fury Fighting Championships (CFFC) featherweight titleholder Pat Sabatini (11-2) looks to defend his belt for a fourth consecutive time when he takes on Brazil’s Mauro Chaulet (14-6) in the main event of CFFC 79 on Nov. 16.

Sabatini headlines an updated lineup that features three championship fights streaming live on UFC FIGHT PASS from the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City. Kicking off at 2 p.m. ET, the featured contests will lead directly into the broadcast of “UFC on ESPN+ 22: Blachowicz vs. Jacare” from Sao Paulo, Brazil.

“Our goal at CFFC is to help find the cultivate future UFC superstars, and Pat Sabatini looks to be on the cusp of making his way into the biggest promotion in mixed martial arts,” CFFC President Rob Haydak said. “Pat fights for the eighth time for us, and it’s becoming increasingly difficult to find fighters willing to step in the cage with him. Mauro Chaulet was willing to answer that call, and he believes he’s going to steal some of the spotlight from Pat in this main event.”

Tickets for CFFC 79, which start at just $55, are currently on sale at CFFC.tv/tickets

Sabatini claimed the CFFC featherweight title in 2017 with a 50-second submission win over John de Jesus to capture a vacant belt. He’s since notched three successful title defenses – including two submission wins – and believes he’s due for a shot at the UFC. He’ll now take on an 11-year veteran in Chaulet, a Team Nogueira product who brings a three-fight winning streak into his CFFC debut.

The bout joins two previously announced championship contests that include Brazil’s Nikolas Motta (10-3) against the New Mexico-based Juan Gonzalez (7-1) for the vacant CFFC lightweight title, as well as Ben Reiter (17-2-1) vs. Shawn Teed (5-2-1) for the vacant heavyweight belt. Meanwhile, injury has forced undefeated CFFC bantamweight Alexander Keshtov (9-0) off the card, and his next title defense will take place at a later date.
