CFFC COVID-19 PROTOCOLS
THE FOLLOWING PROCEDURES ARE FOR FIGHTERS, TEAM MEMBERS & STAFF.

Pre-Event Protocols
PAPERWORK
E-Sign: All unnecessary contact will be avoided by having athletes sign electronic documents for contracts, licensing and other paperwork.
Eliminate extra in person paperwork, poster signings
TRAINING
Encourage fighters to practice in small “tight knit” groups
Practice safe sanitization in gyms and at training facilities
Self-monitoring temperature and symptoms, reporting any abnormalities immediately.
MEDICALS
COVID-19 testing for all fighters / corners
Standard Athletic commission Requirements + COVID-19 Extras
Complete quarantine by all athletes/team members prior to fight after testing
Hotel Arrival & Check-In
Limit contact with General Public, self isolate in rooms
Room Keys Pre-pulled
Pre-arrange no extra housekeeping service INSIDE rooms
Meals delivered
Suspended Fight Week Activities
No in-person fighter interviews
Commentators will seek fighter bio information through email or other means
No on-camera interviews
No Public Weigh Ins
Limited photography
WEIGH INS
Disinfect scale between each fighter
No hugging, shaking hands, etc.
Photography
Only Photographer and 1x Fighter in photography area at a time
Area disinfected between each fighter
No contact with photographer
Only “Tale of the Tape” pose
(One pose, 6 shots - less than 30 seconds needed)
No post-fight team photos inside the cage or surrounding area
WEIGHT CLASS MODIFICATIONS
Modifications to weight classes at the discretion of SAC and/or CFFC
Reduce excessive weight loss
Reduce load on immune system
Athlete must have competed at weight class previously
MEAL PREP
CFFC will coordinate meal preps for athletes
Menus / Orders will be taken prior to arrival
Meals dropped off at rooms with “no contact delivery”
PRODUCTION CREW & PROTOCOLS
All Staff will be issued masks and personal disinfectant
All staff to practice social distancing of 6 feet minimum at all times
Only exception is inside production truck
Cameramen will be removed from cageside where possible
Jib cameras and long lenses will be used to replace close cameras
Commentators
Placed no less than 10 feet from the cage.
Elevated platform with monitors and headsets
Separation between the commentators.
Ring Announcer will remain outside the cage no less than 6 feet.
Ring Card Girls will be eliminated
Referee / Cutmen
Issued PPE that can be disinfected or disposed of after every bout.
Cutman gloves changed every round and every bout
SAC will provide further guidance
Post Fight Interviews only through social distancing no less than 6’ w/headsets
Cameramen
Will avoid fighters at ALL COSTS (6+ feet)
Maintain 6 feet of distance from other staff at all times
Will use long lenses and shoot from a distance
Issued PPE equipment
Visual “tape aids” will provide safe areas for staff to operate outside the action
No-one enters the ring for shooting
FIGHT DAY
Thermal readings
Pre-Fight Physical by State Doctors
Cornermen and fighters isolated to individual areas for locker rooms / back of house / outside when possible
No shared spaces
Areas equipped with sanitization products
PPE AND SANITIZATION
CFFC will secure N95 or CDC approved surgical masks
Santizers will be provided for all athletes & team members
Once set up, cage will be cleaned and locked until pre show inspection
Following pre-show inspection cage will be fogged or misted again before first bout
Full disinfectant fogging or misting between each bout
Followed by dry mopping to prevent slippage
PPE AND SANITIZATION
CFFC will reduce on site staff to only employees essential to operations
Will provide full head count to SAC.
Staff will maintain social distancing and wear masks & gloves during work
In arena staff seating will be 10+ feet from cage and fighter areas
POST FIGHT & FOLLOW UP
State Doctors - will perform standard post-fight physical
Official recommendation to self isolate for 2 weeks following travel back from event for all staff and fighters
2 week check-up with all staff and fighters
24/7 REGISTERED NURSE RESOURCE / EVENT DAY MEDICAL SUPPORT
CFFC will provide a 24/7 hotline to access a Registered Nurse with any questions, comments or concerns - from fight camp through post fight.
Scope of work limited to help with COVID-19, fight injuries, or state medical licensing. No consulting on weight cuts or nutrition.
Medical personnel will be on-site during all event to address questions or concerns as it relates to COVID-19.
SAC maintain a minimum of 2 medical personnel at cageside during the events entirety

By participating in a CFFC event you acknowledge, agree, and understand that by training for, or attending bouts of unarmed combat promoted by Cage Fury MMA, LLC may induce exposure and/or contraction of COVID-19 (a/k/a Coronavirus), influenza, and/or other contagious diseases that carry with them serious health risks including, but not limited to, prolonged sickness, hospitalization, and/or death.
I hereby willingly, knowingly, and voluntarily assume these risks regardless of whether such infection, illness, physical and/or mental injury, permanent disfigurement, paralysis, and/or death are directly and/or indirectly caused, in whole or in part, as the result of the negligent, grossly negligent, and/or intentional acts and/or omissions of the Venue, Cage Fury MMA, LLC, and/or Cage Fury MMA, LLC’s owners, officers, employees, agents, partners and/or assigns.
