Pat Sabatini

Here what main event fighter Pat Sabatini had to say ahead of his first title fight at CFFC 67 against John De Jesus.

FEATHERWEIGHT (145lbs) CHAMPION

Originally from Seaside Heights NJ, and fighting out of Bristol, PA, Pat Sabatini became the CFFC Featherweight Champion by defeating John De Jesus via first round submission at CFFC 67. He now finds himself at the very top of the East Coast regional circuit. A Daniel Gracie Jiu-Jitsu black belt and team member at MPR Endurance, Sabatini has a next-level ground game and a blossoming Sambo game that have made him perhaps the most feared featherweight outside of national promotions.

A florist by day and fighter by night, Sabatini has a much more laid back, and tamed demeanor than many MMA fighters, but he is entertaining nonetheless. Similar to the former CFFC 145lb champ Jared Gordon, Sabatini is stoic and comes to take care of business each and every time he fights.

Ricky Bandejas

Ricky Bandejas wears many hats, but has still found the time to become one of the best bantamweights on the East Coast! Hear how Ricky balances his hectic lifestyle in this #CFFC66 promo - the night he won his title.

INTERIM BANTAMWEIGHT (135lbs) CHAMPION

Nick Catone MMA product and native of Brick Township, NJ, Ricky Bandejas captured the Cage Fury Interim Bantamweight Title at CFFC 66 by defeating Giorgi Kudukhashvili via 2nd Round TKO. Beloved family man and teammate, Bandejas comes from a wrestling base, and has developed excellent striking skills by using his length.

Bandejas has competed soley under the Cage Fury banner like fellow CFFC champions Sean Brady and Joe Lowry and finds himself on a short list of bantamweight prospects poised to go to the UFC in the near future. Surely he will look to avenge his only loss to Nick Pace and unify his belt first.

Joe Lowry

Joe Lowry exudes confidence ahead of his bout with Rich Patishnock in the co-main event of CFFC 68 defending his title for the first time.

LIGHTWEIGHT (155lbs) CHAMPION

Joe Lowry is a Philadelphia blue collar guy through and through. Lowry is the beloved son of Daddis Fight Camps and the Local 19 Sheet Metal Workers Union. Holding an undefeated record of 6-0, Lowry has fought exclusively for Cage Fury throughout his entire pro career.

He has become a major fan favorite thanks to his killer instinct and fantastic boxing skills. Lowry won the CFFC lightweight title by defeating Mike Pope via first round knockout at CFFC 65. In just three years, Lowry has gone from relatively unknown to rising superstar with a large following. Some of Lowry’s other notable victories include a TKO win over Daisuke Yamaji and a decision win over Bradley Desir that was a CFFC fight of the year candidate.

Anton "The Body Snatcher" Berzin

Highlights from CFFC 65 - the night Anton Berzin won his title.

A Philadelphia transplant originally from Ukraine, Anton Berzin is the first ever CFFC light heavyweight champion. He captured the belt by defeating Jamelle Jones via TKO at CFFC 65. Berzin is a member of Balance Studios in Philly, and a veteran of season 19 of The Ultimate Fighter as a member of Team B.J. Penn.

Berzin is a well-rounded fighter that refuses to be labeled with a specific style. Known as “The Body Snatcher,” Berzin holds a professional record or 5-1 with all of his victories coming by way of either knockout or submission. Simply put, Anton Berzin is a finisher. After a long layoff between 2012 and 2016 due to difficulty getting fights, Berzin has returned with two straight wins over the last year. A combatant under Cage Fury since CFFC 15, Berzin is looking to use his new gold strap to catapult him towards his second chance with the UFC.

Sean Brady

MMA is more than just a sport. Despite what it looks like on the outside, we all fight for something. Sean Brady talks about what drives him ahead of his first bout for the title this past May.

WELTERWEIGHT (170lbs) CHAMPION

Sean Brady is an undefeated prospect that is both highly touted and on the rise. Brady captured the CFFC welterweight belt at CFFC 65 by defeating Tanner Saraceno via first round submission (guillotine). Brady is a Renzo Gracie Philly product with a record of 6-0. He is without a doubt one of the most promising young fighters to come through the east coast regional MMA scene in a long time.

At just 24 years old, Sean Brady is already an elite talent with a Brown belt in jujitsu and a knack for landing brutal spinning striking techniques. Brady’s best performances came at CFFC 60 where he knocked out Chauncey Foxworth with a spinning backfist. Brady is a career-long CFFC competitor that is undoubtedly on the verge of getting “the call” from the UFC.

Sean "Shorty Rock" Santella

Sean "Shorty Rock" returned to his spot at the top of the flyweight division with a huge win over Matt "SMG" Lozano at CFFC 62 on December 17 to reclaim his flyweight crown.

INTERIM FLYWEIGHT (125lbs) CHAMPION

Sean Santella has been a longtime staple in the east coast flywegiht division, fighting the "who's who" of the sport. Santella won the interim CFFC Flyweight title at CFFC 62 when he defeated Matt Lozano via rear-naked choke.

Shorty trains out of Ricardo Almeida BJJ, Nick Catone MMA, and Miller Brothers MMA making him a true jersey boy. His trademark hot pink mohawk has inspired his fans to rock the color in support at every event. Santella is best known for his smothering ground game, which he frequently uses to put away opponents on the mat. His skills were on full display at V3Fights 62 where he became a two-promotion Alliance MMA Champion by defeating Larry Digiulio by rear-naked choke.

"The road for glory is not for the faint of heart.. it's what sets these warriors apart..." Promo video for the last time Zu Anyanwu stepped into the CFFC cage when he defended his title against Shawn Teed. Zu has since signed with the UFC

HEAVYWEIGHT (265lbs) CHAMPION

One of CFFC’s perennial heavyweight stars is Azunna Anyanwu. “Zu” holds a 13-4 professional record with 7 KO’s and 2 Submissions. He fights out of MPR MMA. He is a 3-time CFFC heavyweight champ, and has headlined several CFFC events. Zu has brutal knockout power in his hands, and he prefers to use his striking rather than his BJJ, which is very solid in it’s own right.

He has wins over Plinio Cruz and Keith Bell, and most recently Greg Rebello at Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series. His personality is a mix between scary and hilarious much like Derek Lewis. His age (35) gives him that grown man strength that overpowered many fighters on the regional circuit. In September of 2017, Anyanwu got his call up to the UFC and signed a multi-fight deal with the sport’s premier organization.

Louis "Goodnight" Gaudinot

CHAMPlg.jpg

FLYWEIGHT (125lbs) CHAMPION

Louis “Goodnight” Gaudinot is an Ultimate Fighter Season 14 veteran with vast experience fighting in the highest level of competition in the sport. A member of Team Tiger Shulmann with his own school in Hoboken, NJ, Gaudinot is known as a slugger with tremendous knockout power for a man of his stature. Gaudinot’s wacky hairstyles and colorful personality makes him a fan favorite amongst the NJ/NY fans.

Since being cut by the UFC following three winless outings, Gaudinot has gone 2-0 inside the CFFC cage including a brutal knockout of Sideco Honorio at CFFC 57 that captured him the 125-pound belt. He has proven his career has been revitalized, and he is on his way back up the flyweight ladder.
