The Medical & Licensing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating athlete medical documentation, licensing, and regulatory requirements for professional Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) events. This position serves as a liaison between athletes, managers, medical providers and the state athletic commissions, to ensure athletes are properly licensed and meet all medical requirements to compete in a timely manner.
The ideal candidate has a familiarity with MMA, excellent organizational skills, and an understanding that medical and licensing requirements vary between individual states and jurisdictions.
This is a non-clinical position and does not require a medical or nursing certification.
Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate athlete licensing and medical requirements with state athletic commissions.
Track medical examinations, testing, results, clearances, suspensions, and other required documentation.
Maintain accurate and confidential athlete medical and licensing records.
Communicate with athletes, managers, medical providers, and athletic commission personnel regarding outstanding requirements.
Research and maintain current knowledge of state-specific MMA licensing and medical regulations.
Coordinate medical appointments, evaluations, and follow-up requirements as needed.
Assist with medical suspension and return-to-competition processes.
Maintain communication with company leadership regarding deadlines & other reporting.
Requirements & QualificationsExperience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience in the medical field.
Availability: Must be available to work evenings and weekends. Live MMA events typically ebb and flow and you will need to be available at odd times for virtual meetings and communication with leadership, athletes, managers, and commission staff.
Adaptability: Ability to thrive in fast-paced live sports environment.
Understanding of the role of state athletic commissions and the regulatory nature of professional MMA and navigating different state and jurisdictional requirements.
Excellent organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple athletes, deadlines, and events simultaneously.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Bonus Points: A genuine passion for or knowledge of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA).
Medical or nursing certification is not required.
Medical-office billing, ICD/CPT coding, or clinical experience is not required.

We are seeking an energetic, reliable, and highly organized Merchandise Sales Representative to manage our retail operations during live CFFC events. You will be the face of the CFFC brand on the arena floor, responsible for outfitting our fans with official apparel and gear.
This is a dynamic, fast-paced role perfect for someone who thrives in a live sports environment and loves interacting with people. If you have retail experience, can handle a rush between fights, and want a front-row seat to the regional MMA scene, we want you on our team.
Key Responsibilities
Booth Operations: Lead the setup, organization, and teardown of the official CFFC merchandise booth at live events.
Customer Service: Actively engage with fans, answer questions about apparel sizing and fit, and provide a premium customer experience.
Sales & Upselling: Drive merchandise sales by recommending products, highlighting new arrivals, and upselling accessories (hats, posters, etc.).
Transaction Management: Process cash, credit, and mobile payments accurately using our SQUARE Point of Sale (POS) system.
Inventory Control: Conduct pre-event and post-event inventory counts. Keep track of fast-moving items and restock the displays throughout the night.
Brand Representation: Maintain a clean, professional, and high-energy merchandise area that reflects the CFFC standard.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: 1–2 years of experience in retail, event sales, or hospitality is strongly preferred.
Availability: Must be available to work evenings and weekends. Live MMA events typically require a commitment from late afternoon through the end of the main event on a Friday or Saturday night.
Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a loud, crowded, and fast-paced live sports environment.
Tech-Savvy: Comfortable operating modern tablet-based POS systems (e.g., Square, Shopify POS).
Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods and comfortably lift merchandise boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
Bonus Points: A genuine passion for or knowledge of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA).

Through our exclusive, multi-year partnership with Rowan University’s Center for Sports Communication & Social Impact, students have the unique opportunity to step out of the classroom and onto the arena floor. From live broadcast production for UFC FIGHT PASS and digital content creation to athlete relations and event operations, our program is designed to provide unparalleled "learn by doing" exposure.
You’ll work directly alongside industry professionals and executives at live events, earning academic credit (and pay once your first semester is completed) while building a resume that stands out in the competitive world of combat sports and media.
