After a successful collaboration in 2015, the number one regional promotion in America, Cage Fury Fighting Championships (CFFC) renews a contract extension with the 24-hour CBS Sports Network in 2016. "We're excited to continue our partnership with CBS Sports Network (CBSSN), in 2016,” exclaimed CFFC CEO Robert Haydak Jr. “Providing our fighters with national exposure is paramount to our overall strategy. Through our strategic partnerships we will continue to elevate our level of production and talent. CFFC is committed to being one of leading MMA promotions in America.”

After airing four events in 2015, CBS Sports Network has doubled that commitment and will air at least eight main card events in 2016. The first airing will be tonight, Thursday January 21, 2016, at 11:00pm EST with the historic main card from CFFC 55. This event was headlined by two undefeated flyweight females as Katlyn “Blonde Fighter” Chookagian battled against Brazil’s Isabelly Varella to crown the first ever CFFC women’s champion in a five round affair. Another highlighted bout was the co-main event that featured hard hitting heavyweights Plinio Cruz taking on “Bazooka” Joe Stripling in a three round war which is already being heralded as an early fight of the year candidate. The event will broadcast again at 2:00am EST Friday morning and again at 11:30pm on Friday night.
