2300 Arena plays host to CFFC 88 and CFFC 89, live on UFC FIGHT PASS

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – Just three weeks after putting on two of the most action-packed cards in company history, Cage Fury Fighting Championships (CFFC) is returning to Philadelphia's historic 2300 Arena for the promotion's next series of back-to-back blockbuster events.

CFFC 88 takes place Wednesday, Nov. 18, and features Dante Rivera BJJ product Phil "The Hitman" Caracappa (9-1) facing highly touted Charlie's Combat Club fighter Tycen "Shin to Chin" Lynn (7-4), as well as the return of four-time UFC veteran Darrell "The Saint" Horcher (13-4) against Russian import Vadim Ogar (6-3).

Meanwhile, CFFC 89 takes place Thursday, Nov. 19. In the headlining bout, five-time CFFC veteran Bassil Hafez (5-2-1) and undefeated Canadian Christien "Tiger" Savoie (8-0) face off with the vacant CFFC welterweight title on the line.

Limited VIP table tickets are available now at CFFC.tv, with social distancing implemented along with additional COVID-19 safety protocols.

"Our October events in Philadelphia gave us two nights of some of the most exciting fights you'll ever see, including a pair of 'Knockout of the Year' candidates," CFFC President Rob Haydak said. "We can't wait to get back to 2300 Arena and put on two more thrilling nights of action on UFC FIGHT PASS."

Both cards stream live on UFC FIGHT PASS at 8 p.m. ET, with former WWE champion and two-time UFC veteran CM Punk calling the fights alongside MMA Junkie lead staff reporter John Morgan.

Caracappa was victorious at August's CFFC 82 event, rebounding from a decision loss on Dana White's Contender Series that remains the only setback of his professional career to date. "The Hitman" now looks to book himself into a future title shot when he takes on Lynn, who has earned five of his seven career wins by stoppage and has already faced big-show veterans Sean O'Malley, Louis Smolka and Journey Newsom.

The following night, Philadelphia's own Hafez returns to CFFC following a three-year hiatus in an effort to claim the welterweight title recently vacated by Jeremiah Wells after accepting a pending invitation to the UFC. Standing in Hafez's way is the undefeated Savoie, a reigning champion on the regional scene in his native Canada who is widely considered one of his nation's current top prospects.
