ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – Cage Fury Fighting Championships (CFFC) is proud to announce the addition of "The Art of Eight Limbs" to the organization's growing portfolio of combat sports offerings with CFFC Muay Thai 1 set for Saturday, January 27 at Philadelphia's 2300 Arena.

In the inaugural event's headliner, multiple-time world champion Amine "The Killer" El Montassime (13-3) takes on GLORY Kickboxing and Lion Fight veteran Keemaan Diop (7-3) in a key lightweight clash. Meanwhile, the co-main event sees undefeated prospect Jhalani Williams (3-0) take on the equally impressive Jaime Mendoza (3-1) at 144 pounds.

Tickets for CFFC Muay Thai 1 are on sale now at CFFC.tv.

“The Cage Fury Fighting Championships family is incredibly excited to announce the latest division of our steadily expanding organization with CFFC Muay Thai," CFFC CEO Rob Haydak said. "While our flagship mixed martial arts events will continue to be the core of our company, the tremendous success we've seen with FURY Professional Grappling and CFFC Match Day encouraged us to take a look at some striking-focused martial arts, as well, and there's nothing better than muay Thai for all-action standup contests.

"When you add elbows and knees into the equation, it really makes for a dynamic contest between the world's most skilled strikers, and we're looking forward to bringing that to our fans with the same commitment to high-level production and incredibly entertaining live events that we continue to display with our existing brands in MMA, submission grappling and NCAA Division I wrestling."

The launch of CFFC Muay Thai includes the appointment of two managing partners for the new division, including longtime CFFC photographer Manny Fernandes, as well as CFFC and FURY Professional Grappling veteran Eddy "The Taino Warrior" Torres. Additionally, combat sports veteran and current muay Thai coach James Meals will serve as matchmaker.

Additional contests already scheduled for the CFFC Muay Thai 1 include Ahmad Alatmah vs. Dan O'Neill, David Piatkowski vs. Christian West, and Abraham Charles vs. Melvin Harris.

A complete lineup for the inaugural CFFC Muay Thai card is expected to be finalized shortly. Promotion officials are also currently working with regulators in CFFC Muay Thai's targeted markets to allow the use of four-ounce gloves in all professional contests.
