CFFC 137 weigh-in results: Anthony Dilemme, Beau Samaniego cleared for vacant featherweight title fight
One preliminary fighter misses weight, but full 11-bout lineup cleared for Friday night.
PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania. – Cage Fury Fighting Championships' featherweight title is officially up for grabs after Anthony Dilemme and Beau Samaniego each made weight for Friday's CFFC 137 headliner.
Today's official weigh-ins took place at 2300 Arena, the same venue that hosts Friday's fight card.
In the main event, undefeated Serra-Longo Fight Team rep Anthony Dilemme (6-0 MMA, 5-0 CFFC) takes on Gilbert Grappling standout Beau Samaniego (6-1 MMA, 3-1 CFFC). Both fighters made weight without issue, each utilizing the one-pound allowance in CFFC title fights and weighing exactly the same at 145.8 pounds.
The night's only weight miss was on the evening's preliminary card, where Texan Xavier Martin (0-1 MMA, 0-0 CFFC) came in at 161 pounds for a scheduled lightweight matchup with Dante Rivera Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu's Jose Rodriguez (Pro debut). Martin was fined and the bout will go on as scheduled.
