ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – Three different fighters missed weight ahead of Friday's "CFFC 134: Daukaus vs. Nchukwi" event, but ultimately the night's complete lineup was cleared to compete.

The official weigh-ins took place today at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City, the same venue that hosts Friday's fight card.

In the night's main event, UFC veterans Chris Daukaus (12-7 MMA, 4-2 CFFC) and Tafon Nchukwi  (6-4 MMA, 2-0 CFFC) return to the promotion that helped launch their big-show careers, clashing in a three-round heavyweight headliner.

Both fighters were comfortable under the heavyweight limit, with Nchukwi – who competed as low as middleweight in his UFC run – actually the heavier man at 254.6 pounds, while Daukaus tipped the scales at 250.2 pounds.

In the night's co-main event, undefeated Russian prospect David Mgoyan (4-0 MMA, 0-0 CFFC) weighed in at 151 pounds, a full 5 pounds over the featherweight non-title limit, in his one trip to the scale for his matchup with Frank Wells (5-3 MMA, 5-3 CFFC). Mgoyan was fined 50 percent of his purse, but the bout will go on as scheduled.

Meanwhile, in a featured matchup, South Carolina's Jacob Romano (5-2 MMA, 0-1 CFFC) failed to make the flyweight limit, registering 127.8 pounds for his matchup with former CFFC NextGen champ Jerry Lleshi (0-1 MMA, 0-1 CFFC). Romano, who declined a second attempt on the scale, was fined 20 percent of his purse for this miss, and the bout will go on as scheduled.

Additionally, in a lightweight contest, Angel Alvarez (7-2 MMA, 0-0 CFFC) weighed 158 pounds for lightweight contest with Justin Montalvo (6-2 MMA, 0-0 CFFC). Alvarez was given an additional hour to hit 156 pounds but was unable to drop any additional weight on his second attempt. He was fined 20 percent of his purse, but the bout will go on as scheduled.
