4 Bears Casino & Lodge plays host to CFFC 136, including special guest Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – Cage Fury Fighting Championships (CFFC) officials are excited to confirm the promotion's return to "The Roughrider State" on Friday, September 27, when the Three Affiliated Tribes welcome the organization to North Dakota's 4 Bears Casino & Lodge, just west of New Town, for "CFFC 136: Forest vs. Saunders."

The night's lineup includes a pair of championship fights at the top of the bill, as former CFFC welterweight champion and Dana White's Contender Series contestant Raheam "Rambo" Forest (7-2) takes on 18-fight veteran Gage "Gangly Gangster" Saunders (13-5) with the vacant 170-pound belt on the line, while undefeated flyweight knockout artist Bilal Alakai Hasan (4- 0) and submission ace Harris Bonfiglio (7-1) face off for the vacant CFFC flyweight title.

Additional matchups already confirmed for the card include former CFFC featherweight title challenger Chris "Bad Apple" Vasil (6-4) vs. Canadian slugger John Nguyen, a pair of flyweight contests with finishing machine Tyler Forsythe (4-1) vs. the equally dangerous Daniel Gonzales (3-3) and CFFC newcomers Dylan Brigman (1-0) vs. Anthony "The Bagel" Jagel (1-0), as well as a women's flyweight matchup between Lorren "Lorrowdy" Dullum (1-0) and Micaela "Micky" Rampage (1-3).

CFFC 136 also features a special meet and greet with UFC Hall of Famer Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone.

Tickets and tables are currently on sale at 4BearsCasino.com.

"It's an honor for us to once again partner with The Mandan, Hidatsa, and Arikara Nation to return to North Dakota following our incredible debut at 4 Bears Casino & Lodge in 2023," CFFC CEO Rob Haydak said. "We were proud to introduce fans in the area to our signature brand of fast-paced, high-quality entertainment, and the fighters delivered with a night full of incredible highlights. For our return, we're once again putting together a stacked lineup of the sport's brightest stars, and we look forward to another memorable night at this incredible venue."

In the CFFC 136 main event, Forest returns to action for the first time since coming up short at Dana White's Contender Series against fellow CFFC veteran and Memphis native Danny Barlow. In his return to CFFC, "Rambo" hopes to regain the title he once owned and earn a shot at the sport's highest stage, where former opponents Barlow and Charles Radtke currently compete. Standing in his way is Saunders, who enters his CFFC debut on the strength of a five-fight winning streak and an impressive mark of 8-1 in his past nine appearances.

Meanwhile, the co-main event sees the 23-year-old Hasan seek his fifth consecutive victory under the CFFC banner in his first bid for promotional gold. With three straight knockout wins to his name, Hasan has featured prominently on "The Short List," which the organization uses to highlight athletes most ready for the UFC call. However, Bonfiglio has big-show aspirations of his own and currently boasts a five-fight win streak that includes four submission victories, dating back to the lone loss of his career against seven-time Bellator MMA veteran Jornel Lugo. In total, six of Bonfiglio's seven career wins have come via tapout.

A full lineup of matchups for CFFC 136 will be announced shortly. The night's main card airs live on UFC FIGHT PASS beginning at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT local time, while preliminary action streams live exclusively on OnlyFans at 7 p.m. ET/6 p.m. CT local time.

WWE superstar and two-time UFC veteran CM Punk calls the action alongside longtime MMA journalist and broadcaster John Morgan.

Doors to the venue open at 6 p.m. ET/5 p.m. CT local time.
