Robert Varricchio vs. Angel Alvarez, Bailey Schoenfelder vs. Anthony Guarascio headline upcoming events
ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – Cage Fury Fighting Championships (CFFC) officials are excited to reveal the details of the promotion's next two events on the 2025 calendar, with "CFFC 140: Varricchio vs. Alvarez" set for Friday, March 14 at Philadelphia's 2300 Arena, as well as "CFFC 141: Schoenfelder vs. Guarascio," which takes place on Saturday, April 19 at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa.
In the main event of CFFC 140, hard-hitting knockout artist "Ruthless" Robert Varricchio (6-1 MMA, 4-1 CFFC) takes on Cuban veteran Angel "Salsa King" Alvarez (8-2 MMA, 1-0 CFFC) for the lightweight title vacated by former champion Robert "Contact" Watley as he pursues a return to the PFL. Additional featured matchups confirmed for CFFC 140 include undefeated bantamweight prospect, B-Team New Jersey co-owner and recent UFC FIGHT PASS Invitational winner Damien Anderson (4-0) vs. Peruvian newcomer Sebastian "El Gallo" Ruiz (5-4), eight-time CFFC veteran Ryan "Korean Thunder" Cafaro (11-6) vs. Colombian featherweight Ricardo "AK-47" Fuentes (6-3), reigning Ring of Combat welterweight champion Jimmy Drago (7-2) vs. Brazilian veteran Junior Melo (14-9-1), undefeated featherweight prospect Tom Hinz (2-0) vs. MMA Masters product Shaun Stant (Pro debut), and the professional debuts of two amateur standouts in Michael Bruno vs. Justin Meyers.
Meanwhile, the headliner of CFFC 141 features the return of reigning heavyweight champion Bailey "Berserk" Schoenfelder (5-1 MMA, 1-0 CFFC) following an appearance at Dana White's Contender Series, when he puts his title on the line against Anthony "The Daywalker" Guarascio (3-0 MMA, 1-0 CFFC), who earned the shot with a 31-second knockout in his promotional debut this past July.

“Meanwhile, Florida's own Anthony Guarascio had a spectacular debut for us, and now he's got an opportunity to win a title in front of his hometown crowd at CFFC 141 against Bailey Schoenfelder, who's determined to earn himself another shot at Dana White's Contender Series. We'll have more announcement for that card coming soon, as well, but for now, get your tickets quickly for both of these events because they will sell out."
