Cage Fury Fighting Championships reveals CFFC Hall of Fame Class of 2025, with Sean Brady, George Sullivan and Jonavin Webb
Former champions to be inducted at special ceremony on Friday, December 19, at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City
ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – Cage Fury Fighting Championships (CFFC) officials are honored to welcome three more legendary names to the CFFC Hall of Fame with Sean Brady, George Sullivan and Jonavin Webb.
The trio of former welterweight champions will be officially honored at a special CFFC Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on Friday, December 19, at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City, the same spectacular property that will host the following night's blockbuster CFFC 149 event. Once officially inducted, they will join former CFFC and UFC champion Aljamain Sterling, former CFFC champion and current UFC analyst Paul Felder, and longtime CFFC matchmaker Arias Garcia in the CFFC Hall of Fame, which was established in 2023 to honor the organization's greatest names.
"It's an absolute privilege to honor these three CFFC legends by welcoming them into the Hall of Fame Class of 2025," CFFC CEO Rob Haydak said. "Sean Brady is still on the rise in the UFC, but after going 8-0 in the CFFC cage, he unquestionably became one the primary faces of our organization. George Sullivan still holds a company record with four consecutive title defenses, using that run to earn himself seven UFC appearances. Meanwhile, Jonavin Webb – in addition to being the man behind the scenes at CFFC BJJ – began his professional career at CFFC and would go on to become the most prolific athlete in company history, making 13 total appearances, including a championship run that earned him a UFC invitation.
"These three athletes exemplify what we are focused on at Cage Fury Fighting Championships in identifying and developing the absolute best talent in MMA and helping prepare those athletes for success at the highest level of the sport. We are pleased to now recognize their accomplishments by welcoming them to the CFFC Hall of Fame."
Extremely limited tickets to the 2025 CFFC Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony are currently available to the public at CFFC.tv. Priced at $125, each purchase also includes a special Reception Hour for all attendees with hors d'oeuvres, as well as a dinner that follows.
As in years past, the CFFC Hall of Fame Class of 2025 will each receive an incredible custom designed piece from Spivak Jewelers, who are excited to reveal a brand new CFFC Hall of Fame Ring for this this year's athletes.
"This custom Hall of Fame ring is a true statement of craftsmanship and power, meticulously built from over an ounce of two-tone 14-karat gold and assembled from four individual components," Josh Spivak stated. "The bold face showcases 63 hand-set diamonds totaling 1.2 carats, radiating around the iconic Cage Fury insignia. The ring's signature side design features a sculpted cage pattern, symbolizing the battleground where legends are forged. This intricate detailing adds both texture and meaning – a tribute to every fighter's grit, endurance, and unbreakable will.
"Every finish is intentional, from the hand-applied black enamel that deepens the contrast, to the polished gold edges that capture the light. Measuring 24 millimeters across the top and 7.5 millimeters in height, it stands as a commanding presence on the hand. A masterpiece of strength and elegance, the CFFC Hall of Fame Ring immortalizes those who fought their way to greatness."
Brady competed under the CFFC banner from 2014 until 2019, including a submission win in his final amateur fight before posting a perfect 8-0 mark in the CFFC cage as a professional, claiming the welterweight title in 2017 and registering two successful title defenses before making his way to the UFC, where he's currently the No. 2-ranked contender in the world.
Sullivan was actually the first CFFC welterweight champion to ever defend that title, and he would go on to do so four times, still the most consecutive defenses for any champion in any weight class in CFFC history. Fighting in the promotion from 2011 to 2014, Sullivan earned a 6-0 mark for CFFC, including four knockouts, before making his way to the UFC.
Webb had a few different stints under the CFFC banner from his professional debut in 2012 until his final appearance in the organization in 2019. Along the way, he put together a stellar 11-1 record for the promotion, good for the most wins in company history. Webb remains an integral part of the organization as the matchmaker for CFFC BJJ.
