CFFC 148 weigh-in results: Champ Anthony Guarascio 24.6 pounds lighter than challenger Larry Gonzales
Heavyweight title on the line in Friday's main event streaming live on UFC FIGHT PASS from Philadelphia's 2300 Arena
PHILADELPHIA – Challenger Larry Gonzales will be nearly a full 25 pounds heavier than champion Anthony Guarascio when the heavyweight title is on the line at CFFC 148.
Thursday's official weigh-ins took place at 2300 Arena, the same venue that plays host to Friday's card, with the main card streaming live on UFC FIGHT PASS following prelims that stream live exclusively on OnlyFans.com/cffcmma.
Reigning titleholder Guarascio (3-1 MMA, 2-0 CFFC) tipped the scales at 261.6 pounds, while Gonzales (7-4 MMA, 0-0 CFFC) was just behind him at 237 pounds, making for a 24.6 pound weight difference in the matchup.
The weigh-ins went relatively smooth overall, with just one miss on the night. Featherweight prospect Yorrick Anderson (1-0 MMA, 0-0 CFFC) initially weighed 149.6 pounds for his contest with Shaun Stant (2-0 MMA, 2-0 CFFC). After getting additional time to cut weight, Anderson returned at 149 pounds and was fined 25 percent of his purse, but the bout will still go on as scheduled.
