FURY Professional Grappling 13, CFFC 142 official for Memorial Day Weekend spectacular in Atlantic City
Tickets on sale now for back-to-back events on May 23-24, including MMA championship tripleheader
ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – Cage Fury Fighting Championships (CFFC) officials are thrilled to confirm the organization will return home to the world-famous Atlantic City Boardwalk for a Memorial Day Weekend spectacular, with the incredible Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City playing host to FURY Professional Grappling 13 and CFFC 142 on back-to-back nights.
On Friday, May 23, Sound Waves at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City welcomes the organization into the all-new venue for the first time for FURY Professional Grappling 13, CFFC's latest star-studded event featuring a mix of UFC stars and top submission grappling talent. The night's featured action is expected to see former CFFC champ and current UFC featherweight contender Pat Sabatini compete for the organization's first championship belt, while the card will also host a pair of one-night tournament brackets, with a four-man field at 185 pounds, as well as a four-woman competition at 125 pounds.
The winner of each tournament bracket takes home a $5,000 bonus. Additional details on FURY Professional Grappling 13's key matchups will be revealed shortly.
The following night, on Saturday, May 24, the promotion returns to another amazing venue inside the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City – the historic Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena – for CFFC 142, where three championship contests will unfold in the night's featured bouts.
Undefeated light heavyweight titleholder Luke Fernandez (4-0 MMA, 4-0 CFFC) puts his title on the line in the main event against eight-time Bellator MMA veteran Christian "Pain" Edwards (7-3 MMA, 0-0 CFFC), while welterweight kingpin Blayne Richards (9-2 MMA, 3-0 CFFC) looks to defend his title in the night's co-feature in a rematch with Eric "Night Time" Nolan (7-3 MMA, 7-3 CFFC), who has rattled off three straight victories to earn his title shot, as well as a chance at redemption.
Rounding out the trio of championship matchups is undefeated featherweight champion Anthony Dilemme (7-0 MMA, 6-0 CFFC), who seeks the first defense of his belt when he takes on nine-time CFFC veteran Ryan "Korean Thunder" Cafaro (12-6 MMA, 7-2 CFFC).
Additional matchups already confirmed for CFFC 142 include former CFFC NextGen lightweight champ Jose "Cheeto" Rodriguez (2-0) vs. Danik Gura (1-0), Kyrgyzstani prospect Busurman Zhumagul (2-0) vs. fellow undefeated welterweight Dean Sherry (1-0), featherweights Vincenzo "Il Prescelto" Iannuzzo (2-1) vs. Eliab Evangelista (3-0), as well as Christian Bobe (1-0) vs. Shaun Stant (1-0), strawweights Lateesha "Honey Badger" Mohl (2-0) vs. Karli Thomas (Pro debut), former CFFC NextGen flyweight champ Xhelal "Jerry" Lleshi (3-1) vs. Gage "Game Over" Mitchell (3-1), former CFFC NextGen strawweight champion Taylor "The Warrior of God" Samarco (0-1) vs. Hope "Hummingbird" Holmes (2-2) at atomweight, and four-time CFFC veteran Ben Coyle (5-4) vs. Casey "The Wonderbread Warrior" Norton (5-2) in a flyweight matchup.
Former CFFC NextGen middleweight titleholder Nick Galanti (3-1) is also expected to compete at the event.

Both events feature a main card streaming live on UFC FIGHT PASS, with preliminary bouts streaming exclusively on OnlyFans.
