Champs Bilal Hasan, Kyle Daukaus defend titles in featured bouts; Holly Holm makes special VIP appearance

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – Cage Fury Fighting Championships (CFFC) officials are excited to confirm details of the promotion's return to "The Roughrider State" on Friday, June 6, when the Three Affiliated Tribes once again welcome the organization to North Dakota's 4 Bears Casino & Lodge, just west of New Town, for "CFFC 143: Hasan vs. Eastman."

Headlining the event is undefeated flyweight champion Bilal Hasan (6-0 MMA, 6-0 CFFC), who seeks the second successful defense of his belt when he takes on the most experienced opponent of his career to date in former CFFC flyweight title challenger Jason "God's Champ" Eastman (8-4 MMA, 1-1 CFFC). Meanwhile, the CFFC 142 co-main event sees two-time middleweight titleholder and seven-time UFC veteran Kyle "The D'Arce Knight" Daukaus (15-4 MMA, 8-0 CFFC) chasing the third consecutive defense of his current title run when he takes on Chris "Breezy" Brown (11-5 MMA, 1-0 CFFC).

Additional matchups already confirmed for the CFFC 143 lineup include Cuban standout Angel "Salsa King" Alvarez (8-2) taking on promotional newcomer J.T. Schulte (8-3) in a lightweight matchup, recent CFFC featherweight title challenger Beau Samaniego (6-2) vs. Canadian striking specialist Amin "Sweet Dreams" Almelik (7-4), a light heavyweight clash between two-time CFFC veteran Frank "The Jackal" Rayford (3-1) and promotional newcomer Chris Choo (3-2), an international middleweight matchup between Brazil's Davi "Young Lion" Cabral (4-0) and Tajikistan's Farshedi Shamsidin (2-1), and a women's bantamweight clash between Lauren "The Linguist" Wolfe (3-1) and the heavy-handed Micaela "Micky" Rampage (2-3).

CFFC 143 also features a special meet and greet with former UFC women's bantamweight champion Holly "The Preacher's Daughter" Holm.

Tickets and tables are currently on sale at 4BearsCasino.com.

"It's truly a pleasure for us to continue our partnership with The Mandan, Hidatsa, and Arikara Nation and return to North Dakota for another incredible live event," CFFC CEO Rob Haydak said. "Just like our previous visits to this fantastic venue, we will once again showcase our signature brand of fast-paced, high-quality entertainment from start to finish, including an incredible championship doubleheader featuring two of the most talented titleholders on our roster and a pair of hungry challengers ready to steal the spotlight with this opportunity. Add in a stacked lineup of all-action athletes in support of those title fights, and this has the makings for an incredible event.

"Get your tickets quickly, because we are expecting another packed house for an amazing night of fights."

At just 23 years old, Hasan has quickly become one of the clear standouts on the CFFC roster, going undefeated in the organization, a run that includes five straight stoppage wins. Hasan's spinning wheel kick knockout of Jacob Romano was one of UFC FIGHT PASS' most viral moments of 2024, and he followed it up with two more victories on the year, including a submission win this past September at 4 Bears Casino & Lodge to claim a then-vacant title. Most recently, Hasan defended the belt with a TKO win in February, and now he returns four months later seeking to repeat the accomplishment.

Meanwhile, Eastman previously challenged for the CFFC flyweight title in 2021, ultimately coming up short in a decision result with then-champ and undefeated prospect Phumi Nkuta. Eastman has been largely quiet since then, registering a knockout win in a 2023 headliner on the Florida regional scene, but he has remained diligent in improving his skills at the famed American Top Team headquarters, training alongside some of the world's top flyweights in current UFC champ Alexandre Pantoja, former RIZIN FF flyweight titleholder Kyoji Horiguchi, and former ONE Championship flyweight kingpin Adriano Moraes, among others, and is promising big changes in his CFFC return.

Additionally, Daukaus is one of the most successful athletes in CFFC history, amassing an incredible 8-0 record in the promotion in two different stints with the organization that have bookended his UFC run. Unbeaten in his career outside of the UFC's famed octagon, the 32-year-old submission ace has vowed to earn his way back into the organization and right the wrongs of that tumultuous first stretch. Standing in his way is Brown, a talented Jackson Wink MMA Academy fighter who has also had a taste of the international stage with two PFL appearances, where he came up just short against two blue-chip standouts, and he's also hoping to get another shot at the sport's highest level.

A full lineup of matchups for CFFC 143 will be announced shortly. The night's main card airs live on UFC FIGHT PASS beginning at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT local time, while preliminary action streams live exclusively on OnlyFans at 7 p.m. ET/6 p.m. CT local time.

WWE superstar and two-time UFC veteran CM Punk calls the action alongside CFFC General Manager and longtime MMA journalist John Morgan.

Doors to the venue open at 6 p.m. ET/5 p.m. CT local time.
