At just 19 years old, Brazilian jiu-jitsu ace Emily Martins made her professional MMA debut in the main-card opening matchup of CFFC 125 on September 15, 2023 in New Town, North Dakota – and "Galega" did not disappoint, flashing her vaunted submission skills right from the start.

Martins started her professional career with two straight submission wins before falling short in a bid for a vacant title against the hard-hitting Auttumn Norton. This Friday, Martins gets a second crack at that belt – and Norton – in the main event of CFFC 144, which streams live on UFC FIGHT PASS from Tampa's Florida State Fairgrounds.
