CFFC 150 weigh-in results: Three championship fights cleared, with just one freshly shaved head
Full 10-bout lineup official for Friday's event, streaming live on UFC FIGHT PASS from Philadelphia's 2300 Arena
PHILADELPHIA – Cage Fury Fighting Championships' first event of 2026 will feature six athletes vying for three vacant championship belts, but one athlete needed to get a quick haircut to get cleared at Friday's CFFC 150 official weigh-ins, which took place at 2300 Arena, the same venue that plays host to the fight card.
Undefeated newcomer Nikita Leshukov (8-0), who competes for the vacant lightweight title in the evening's co-main event, was 156.4 on his first trip to the scale and was given additional time to make 156 pounds, utilizing CFFC's one-pound allowance for title fights. When he returned to the scales, he was 156.2 pounds. However, with additional time remaining in the weigh-in period, he was able to obtain a pair of clippers and shave his head, returning to the scales and making it at 156 pounds on the dot.
Opponent Will Starks (11-3) also needed two trips to the scales to hit 156 pounds but was able to do so without issue.
There was no such drama in the main event, with Busurman Zhumagul (4-0) at 171 pounds and Daniel Morrison (7-2) at 170.4 pounds on their first trip to the scale, making the headliner official. The same was true of the co-main event, where Arisa Matsuda (7-0) was 113.8 pounds and Ayan Tursyn (8-1) hit 116 pounds on the dot to be cleared for their strawweight championship matchup.
In the night's main-card opening matchup, Jeremiah Delgado (1-0) was 149.2 pounds for a planned featherweight matchup with Derrick Patterson (2-3), who came in slightly over, as well, at 146.6 pounds. With both fighters missing the official mark, the contest was changed to a 150-pound catchweight matchup and will go on as scheduled.
