TAMPA, Florida – CFFC heavyweight champion Larry Gonzales is seven inches shorter than challenger Vitor Resende, but he was 10 pounds heavier on the scale ahead of his first scheduled title defense, which headlines CFFC 151.

Gonzales (8-4 MMA, 1-0 CFFC) and Resende (5-1 MMA, 1-0 CFFC) led a flawless official weigh-in for Friday's event, which is now set with 11 total fights. Gonzales hit the scales first at 262 pounds, while Resende was second at 252 pounds.

Today's weigh-ins took place at the fighter hotel, while the nearby Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa will play host to Friday's event, which streams live on UFC FIGHT PASS and OnlyFans.com/cffcmma.

The day wasn't completely without incident, with former interim lightweight champion Morquez Forest (7-1) needing two trips to the scale to make his matchup with Ashton Charlton (9-3) official, as did middleweight Lucas Cortes (2-1) for his contest with Paul Carson (3-1). However, each fighter was successful on their return to the scale, and the night's full lineup will remain as scheduled.
