Undefeated flyweight champion Bilal Hasan faces hard-hitting challenger Ben Coyle in CFFC 153 headliner in Philadelphia
Interim bantamweight title also on line at 2300 Arena on Friday, April 17; tickets on sale now
ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – The top pound-for-pound fighter on the Cage Fury Fighting Championships roster, undefeated flyweight champion Bilal Hasan, will seek an incredible fourth successful defense of his title when he takes on the dangerous Ben Coyle in the main event of CFFC 153.
CFFC officials recently announced that the matchup will headline the April 17 event at Philadelphia's 2300 Arena, and tickets are now on sale for the card at CFFC.tv.
"Bilal Hasan has been on the top of our Short List for the UFC since he claimed the title back in 2024, but he's not waiting around for that call and is staying busy and seemingly getting better every single time he fights," CFFC CEO and President Rob Haydak said. At just 24 years old, Hasan (8-0 MMA, 8-0 CFFC) has elevated himself as one of CFFC's most entertaining athletes, rattling off eight consecutive wins in the promotion, including six knockouts and one submission. He claimed the belt in 2024 and defended it three times in 2025, with all three defenses ending via knockout. A victory would ties Hasan with CFFC Hall of Famer George Sullivan as the only men to register four consecutive defenses of a CFFC belt.
However, Coyle (7-4 MMA, 4-2 CFFC) has a different plan.
The 29-year-old Pennsylvania native opened his professional career at a rather unimpressive 1-3 but turned a corner in 2023 and has gone an impressive 6-1 since, with the lone loss in that span a rather dubious disqualification loss that was initially ruled a 14-second knockout win. During his current run, Coyle has scored four wins by knockout and another by submission.
Coyle's last three wins have all come, under the CFFC banner, earning him a crack at the title.
In addition to the night's scintillating headliner, the always entertaining Sebastian Ruiz (7-4) and the undefeated Lucas Seibert (6-0) will clash for an interim bantamweight title.
Ruiz was expected to face reigning titleholder Sean Mora for the belt at this past weekend's CFFC 151, but with the champion currently unable to defend his title, an interim title will be introduced.
Additional matchups already confirmed for CFFC 153 include undefeated welterweight Itso Babulaidze (6-0) vs. promotional newcomer DeWitt "Crazy Cat" Dixon (4-1), former CFFC featherweight champion Anthony Dilemme (7-1) vs. DeAndre "The Protege" Anderson (6-6), Karli Jo Thomas (2-1) moving to flyweight to take on Nejra "Bosnian Bombshell" Repp (4-3), featherweights Tyler "The Real Oregon Gangster" Berger (2-1) vs. Sebastian "Wonderboy" Seagraves (1-0), flyweights Lou Raimo (Pro debut) vs. Demetri "Night Night" Nictas (0-1), and a 126-pound NextGen bout between Dalton Pedrick (2-1) and Nemateillo Tukhtasinov (2-1).
