ROCKFORD, Illinois – Friday's "CFFC 161: Lleshi vs. Calvert" event will proceed with one less bout than expected, but the night's featured matchups will go on as scheduled, including the night's headliner between Jerry Lleshi and Erik Calvert after both flyweights made weight without issue at the event's official weigh-ins.
Thursday's ceremony took place at the athlete host hotel, while Friday's card sees the organization return for just the second time to Hard Rock Casino Rockford. The night's main card streams live on UFC FIGHT PASS following prelims on OnlyFans.com/cffcmma.
Lleshi and Calvert will collide with an interim flyweight belt on the line. Lleshi hit the scales first, utilizing the one-pound allowance given in CFFC title fights and coming in at 125.8 pounds. Calvert followed shortly after, registering 125.2 pounds, clearing the way for the main event.
The only issue on the night took place on the preliminary card, as Manny Morales came in at 175.2 pounds for his welterweight matchup with Omoyele Gonzalez, who registered 169.2 pounds and declined to accept the matchup with the sizable six-pound differece.
