ATLANTIC CITY — JULY 10, 2019 — Fresh off a Knockout of the Year last month that was the talk of the MMA world, Philadelphia’s Jeremiah Wells (7-2-1) will battle red-hot Joey “Mama’s Boy” Pierotti (12-1) of Washington State for the vacant Cage Fury Fighting Championships welterweight title. This tremendous championship fight takes place as the main event of CFFC 77 on Friday, Aug. 16 at Etess Arena inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City.

Wells and Pierotti will square off for the CFFC 170-pound title which was vacated earlier this year when then-champion Sean Brady signed a contract to compete for the UFC. The title fight comes on the heels of Wells’ incredible knockout of Mumia Abu Dey Ali at CFFC 76 in June, as well as Pierotti’s undefeated run in CFFC which has seen him score victories over David Mundell and Manny Walo.
