Alliance MMA and CFFC want all of our fans in the area to come out and donate to the Supplies Drive benefitting the Atlantic City Rescue Mission.
Two Egg Harbor Township High school graduates, Dave Sholler and Zach Agostino, are helping the community come together next week with the goal of making a positive impact on the community. The two South Jersey natives, have put together an amazing opportunity to give back to an area that needs your help.
The Supplies Drive will be held on Saturday 17th from 6pm to 10pm at Gregory's Restaurant and Bar in Somers Point, NJ.
Contributors are asked to bring supplies that will help the Atlantic City Rescue Mission continue to give to those in need this holiday season. Residents who donate will be eligible to win tickets and a VIP experience for an upcoming Philadelphia 76ers game.
Supplies in need include:
- Canned food
- Laundry detergent and bleach
- Bottled Water
- Toilet paper and tissues
- Trash bags
- New winter hats, gloves, jackets, socks, and scarves
- Toothbrushes and toothpaste
- Deodorant
- Soap, body wash, and shampoo
- Children's Tylenol, cough drops, and vapor rub

“The Atlantic City Rescue Mission has been helping families and individuals in need since 1964, and although our area continues to rebound from a struggling economy, there are still many, many residents looking to simply obtain life’s essentials,” Sholler, a Stockton University graduate who now serves as Vice President of Communications for the Philadelphia 76ers, said. “The Rescue Mission needs our support this holiday season so that it can continue to serve our community members battling obstacles such as homelessness or addiction.”
“This is the time of year where the less fortunate need us more than ever,” Agostino, a University of Pennsylvania graduate who now works at sports agency powerhouse CAA, added. “We thank the Gregory family for opening their doors for all of us to rally together to support the Atlantic City Rescue Mission.”
So, before heading over to Philadelphia for CFFC 62 make your you do your part and gather your donations for the Supplies Drive! We're confident our strong regional MMA community can really make a difference.
