Official CFFC 65 Results & Highlights

Cage Fury Fighting Championships 65 was a night our Philadelphia fans won't soon forget.

On an evening with a total of seven combatants fighting out of The City of Brotherly Love, fans at the 2300 Arena cheered on every single one of them to victory. Even the neighboring fighters from New Jersey came away victorious in what was a hometown frenzy in the 215.

In the main event of the evening, Sean Brady came out with a look of determination in his eyes, and fans could tell he would not be denied the CFFC welterweight title. Brady went on to defeat Tanner Saraceno via first round submission (guillotine) after wrestling Saraceno to the mat and simply overpowering the WWE's "Tough Enough" star. The arena exploded with Brady fans cheering with jubilation for their local favorite.

In the Co-Main event, Joe Lowry knocked out now former lightweight champ Mike Pope in the first round. After a brief stoppage due to an eye poke to pope, Lowry came out firing bombs and caught Pope several times before sending him to the canvas, and erupting his massive crowd filled with Philly supporters and his local 19 union brothers.

In the other title fight at CFFC 65, yet another Philadelphia-based fighter in Anton Berzin walked away with a new strap. Berzin defeated Jamelle Jones via TKO in round 2 after Berzin landed a picture perfect body shot in the clinch that marked the beginning of the end for Jones. Berzin is now the very first light heavyweight champion in CFFC history.
