CFFC launches FURY Professional Grappling
Tickets on sale now for July 2 debut; applications also being accepted for competitors
ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – Cage Fury Fighting Championships (CFFC) is excited to announce the launch of FURY Professional Grappling, a new high-level showcase for elite grappling competitors and fighters from around the world.
"CFFC has built its brand as a leader in MMA by discovering and developing the absolute best talent in the sport," CFFC President Rob Haydak said. "Now after much demand from fighters and fans, we're bringing that same attitude and platform to the ever-rising sport of submission grappling"
FURY Professional Grappling's debut event takes place Friday, July 2, at Philadelphia's 2300 Arena. Tickets, which start at just $45.00, are currently on sale now at CFFC.tv.
"We've been working behind the scenes on FURY Professional Grappling for several years, and we were hoping to launch last year before the COVID-19 pandemic forced us to push things back a little bit," Haydak said. "But on July 2, we'll host our debut event, with former CFFC welterweight champion and decorated Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt Jonavin Webb matchmaking the card."
FURY Pro Grappling 1 is expected to feature superfights in both the gi and no-gi divisions. Athletes interested in participating can apply at CFFC.tv/grappling.
