Tickets on sale now for CFFC 113, featuring Greg Velasco vs. Kevin Sears for vacant heavyweight title

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – Cage Fury Fighting Championships (CFFC) is proud to announce the promotion's return to Parx Casino in Bensalem, Penn.

Featuring a heavyweight title fight between undefeated prospect Greg "The Viking King" Velasco (4-0) and 15-fight veteran Kevin "King Kevi" Sears (9-6), CFFC 113 takes place Saturday, October 8, at Parx Casino's Xcite Center. The winner will take home the CFFC heavyweight title that was vacated when Jamelle Jones signed with the Professional Fighters League.

Additional matchups include a co-main event middleweight contender fight between submission expert Earl Small (4-1) and David "Shotgun" Gladfelter (3-1) who scored highlight reel worthy TKO by knee in his promotional debut at CFFC 102. The event also features Josiah "Muscle Hamster" Harrell (5-0) vs. Tracy Reeder (5-0), Santo Curatolo (6-3) vs. Shamel "Badman" Findley (4-1-1), Ricardo Fuentes (5-2) vs. Reyes "Junior" Cortez (6-2), Joe "Juggernaut" Schick (4-2) vs. Dwayne Holman (3-7) and Tommy Majeski (3-2) vs. "Ruthless" Robert Varrichio (2-0).

Tickets are on sale now at CFFC.tv. The event streams live on UFC FIGHT PASS.

"Parx Casino is a fantastic partner to us at CFFC, and we're to back at the Xcite Center following a phenomenal sold-out event in the venue in May," CFFC CEO Rob Haydak stated. "The heavyweight belt is on the line in the main event, with the undefeated Greg Velasco getting a stiff test in gritty veteran Kevin Sears. The rest of the card is filled some of the sport's brightest talent looking to make their way to the next level, and it promises to a night full of non-stop action. Get your tickets early because it will sell out once again."

The 28-year-old Velasco has been perfect as a professional, racking up four straight stoppage victories to start his career, all under the CFFC banner. Velasco was nearly perfect as an amateur, as well, with his lone setback coming in a 2019 clash with current UFC heavyweight Hamdy Abdelwahab. Now Velasco takes on the most experienced opponent of his career to date in Sears, who makes his CFFC debut. Sears boasts previous matchups with the likes of big-show veterans Justin Frazier, Parker Porter, Greg Rebello and Kelvin Tiller, among others.

Additional bouts will be added shortly.

Former All Elite Wrestling champion and two-time UFC veteran CM Punk calls the action at CFFC 113 alongside Mixed Martial Arts.com editor-in-chief John Morgan on UFC FIGHT PASS.
