"There is always a special feeling inside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa during our events, with some of the sport's most passionate fans selling out the venue each and every time to witness MMA's next big stars making their names with incredible performances," CFFC CEO Rob Haydak said. "With Tampa's own Blake Smith in the main event, it's going to be another electric night, and we're lining up action-packed fights from start to finish. You won't want to miss this."
Lightweight champ Smith has already turned in a pair of incredible performances at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa, debuting in the promotion at the historic CFFC 100 in 2021 and claiming the CFFC title with a thrilling third-round submission of then-champ Zulkarnaiyn Kamchybekov. Smith then defended the title in March, scoring a hard-fought decision win over a previously undefeated Paris Artis at CFFC 106. Smith now seeks the second defense of his title as he faces St. Louis, who has scored back-to-back first-round finishes under the CFFC banner to earn his shot at the belt.
Meanwhile, McKinney is also a familiar face to the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa crowd, delivering an unforgettable first-round knockout of highly respected former champ Santo Curatolo at July's CFFC 110 to claim the promotion's interim flyweight title. A 16-year veteran, McKinney now looks to defend the belt for the first time as reigning flyweight champion Phumi Nkuta remains sidelined from surgery he underwent earlier this year.
Additional bouts will be added shortly. All Elite Wrestling superstar and two-time UFC veteran CM Punk calls the action at CFFC 114 alongside Mixed Martial Arts.com editor-in-chief John Morgan on UFC FIGHT PASS.
