Philadelphia's 2300 Arena packed for Friday's CFFC 117 and Saturday's CFFC 118

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – Cage Fury Fighting Championships (CFFC) is kicking off the promotion's incredibly exciting 2023 campaign this weekend with a pair of events at Philadelphia's 2300 Arena, and both cards are completely sold out.

Friday's "CFFC 117: Kamchybekov vs. Gunnison" event featured a packed house that witnessed a spectacular five-round headliner, with Cedric Gunnison claiming the promotion's vacant lightweight title with a thrilling five-round decision win over former champ Zulkarnaiyn Kamchybekov, as well as a come-from-behind stoppage win for undefeated heavyweight champ Greg Velasco, who bested a previously undefeated Ronald Coleman in the night's co-feature.

Meanwhile, Saturday's card features another two championship matches atop the bill, and no tickets remain for the event. However, fans can still watch the action live on UFC FIGHT PASS beginning at 8 p.m. ET.

"The schedule we're planning for 2023 is by far the most ambitious series of events in company history, and it's incredibly exciting to launch that campaign with two sold-out cards with our partners at 2300 Arena," CFFC CEO Rob Haydak said. "This legendary venue has become a mainstay of our annual plans, and our fans pack the house each and every time, giving us some of the most memorable events of our calendar."

CFFC 118's main event sees reigning welterweight champion Raheam "Rambo" Forest (6-0) take on Charles "Chuck Buffalo" Radtke (6-3) in a welterweight title fight.

The co-main event features Vilson "The Strong Eagle" Ndregjoni (6-3) and Dana White's Contender Series veteran Ashiek "Peak Physique" Ajim (6-2) compete for a vacant bantamweight title.

Former WWE and All Elite Wrestling champion and two-time UFC veteran CM Punk calls the action alongside Mixed Martial Arts.com editor-in-chief John Morgan on UFC FIGHT PASS.
