Fight-week meals for CFFC fighters and staff provided in effort to ensure safety for all

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – Cage Fury Fighting Championships (CFFC) is proud to announce a new partnership with Reload Meal Prep, a Philadelphia-based meal prep service dedicated to providing tailored weight management and nutrition consultation via healthy, affordable meals to help suit customers’ busy lifestyles.

In addition to supplying convenient, nutritious food options to CFFC athletes during their fight weeks, the partnership also helps ensure overall adherence to the promotion’s stringent COVID-19 safety protocols as the organization returns to live action for the first time since February.

“We’re incredibly excited to return to live action in August with CFFC 82 and CFFC 83, but we also recognize the importance of doing so in a safe manner during the ongoing global pandemic that is impacting us all,” CFFC President Rob Haydak said. “This new partnership with Reload Meal Prep will allow our athletes and our team access to the type of high-quality fuel you would expect for competitors at the highest level, while also helping us maintain proper social distancing leading up to the event.”

“We’ve made arrangements for every athlete and staff member to have their own hotel room, each equipped with kitchens for heating meals and refrigerators for food storage. Reload Meal Prep will deliver meals to each individual throughout fight week, providing a service that shows once again our ongoing commitment to the health and wellness of our athletes.”

The partnership kicks off with CFFC 82 and CFFC 83, which will stream live and exclusively on UFC FIGHT PASS on Aug. 12 and 13, respectively. The two cards will take place at 2300 Arena in Philadelphia but will be closed to the public.

“Reload Meal Prep is committed to providing all of our clients with delicious, balanced meals,” Reload Meal Prep owner Ana Saldivar said. “Quarantines across the country have made it challenging for many to keep their nutrition at an acceptable level, and that’s especially important for these elite athletes. This partnership allows us to showcase our nutritious, convenient products, while also helping CFFC operate in a safe and responsible manner. We’re excited to partner with CFFC and hope we can see this plan grow and flourish for many years to come.”

CFFC’s long-awaited return to live action features five championship matchups over the course of the two-night series, as the company continues to seek out MMA’s top prospects and ready them to compete at the highest level of the sport.
